heist scenes were cool, everything else mid and forgettable. side characters weren’t as memorable as the first movie, and this one lacked some of the grit from the first one

could have been way better, writing is an absolute joke and totally unbelievable - all the characters are clowns and the writers go out of their way to manufacture contrived conflicts and jerk the audience around pointlessly

this movie would have been way better if they had Siddharth fight bad guys for 2 hours straight, simply the only redeeming factor

War feels like a slow, unbearable grind punctuated by sudden moments of ruthless and unforgiving violence. The Covenant depicts this perfectly, agonizingly. This movie is front-loaded on action and brings up the back half more emotionally.

I noticed that they took care to show how helpless someone could feel in such circumstances. We see how tough and singularly determined you have to be to survive in the bush.

A solid, entertaining buddy action movie that punches above its weight. It felt like the recent Jumanji remake, which I also had low expectations for but was pleasantly surprised.

The characters didn't feel forced, and they played well off each other. While there weren't any landmark performances, Regé-Jean Page in particular stood out portraying a peculiar character and the fight sequences were honestly much better than expected.

It's a fun watch and the narrative isn't too complicated or obscure. This was a respectable adaptation of a massive game and the door is wide open for sequels.
