ok this was cute!
nostalgia and character design alone saved this from a 2.5 star rating; i felt the humor came across as a little childish, jim was near-unlikable in the first third of the story, and i physically rolled my eyes at a few points. the first 45 minutes convinced me i wouldn’t like it as an adult, but the rest of the movie did, somehow convince me.
