    Loved this adaptation of a classic play.

    I know in the original play we don’t actually see Eva but I do like how we do in the film: okay having an actual face to the name can remove that the concept that Eva Smith represents the entire lower classes; but I think actually seeing Eva’s life and how the Birleys screwed her over really captures the themes of the rich neglecting and abusing the poor

    Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law’s chemistry as Sherlock and Dr. Watson was such an ideal relationship between brothers: strong and endearing yet full of annoyance and bickering. Holmes eccentricities and somewhat abrasive approach, coupled with Watson’s professional yet tightly wound nature create a highly entertaining collision between personalities
