  Felt disappointed. This had the back bone to be amazing. Loved the premise of the movie and the actors, but I just found myself actively bored in the middle.

  It was interesting to watch a movie where the characters entirely exist within the bounds of the timeline. There was no mention (that I can recall) of Lee's life prior and you learnt nothing directly of his past life. This did cause me to take a while to warm up to the characters as I felt I just suddenly switched on so far through a movie.

  I love the animation in this movie, makes me so happy seeing all the variations in drawings. I like how the characters grew up from the first movie, feel like it's a rarity in animation for characters to age. It's all just so good, the way the plot continues on with complexity, rather than just a simple, superhero vs villain. I didn't think they could do better than the first set of Spiders but I didn't yet know Spider-Punk and Pavitr Prabhakar.

  Crazy to see how much Christiane was able to get up to without her mother noticing. I couldn't comprehend how the mum could have been completely ignorant to the situation. After the scene where she comes face to face with the problem, the lack of aftercare just led me to believe that she probably knew to a certain level all along but just decided not to intervene. It's only way later on down the line, that she actually takes any form of action. It's sad to know how bad it has to get, in order for people to care.
