  How I Live Now 2013

  The way this movie had such a hold on me when I was teenager - cemented my love for Saoirse and my crush on George MacKay lmao

  I find some of the dialogue maybe a bit tedious now and the final big moment before the ending is very much just brushed over. That being said I do find this movie powerful, to this day there’s a few scenes that rattle me and will forever stay with me 

  I would love to have John Hopkins do more soundtracks as well, his score for this was understated but still beautiful.

  Unlike anything I’ve seen before, Bong Joon-Ho is simply a genius!!

  A great mix of genres, incredible performances across the board with no weak links, witty, poignant, perhaps heavy handed with the symbolism but the story kept me guessing and wasn't predictable. 

  Whilst I find the fact this movie’s release date was pushed back so much completely ridiculous, I feel like it’s the movie we need right now
