Turning Red 2022
Really loved this one! Super cute cartoony animation, and really lovely soft, pastel treatment on the lighting throughout the film.
The take on girlhood in this film felt really true-to-life. It seemed more unrestrained in it's depiction of the awkward transition into adulthood than is usually allowed in stories about girls, and i really admire that. One of the worst films I've ever seen in my life, hands down. Also one of the most entertaining, simply because of how bafflingly bad it is.
Spoiler alert: despite clearly saying "leprechauns" in the title, this movie features almost no leprechauns.

It was a fun film. Animation was nice. the voices didn't seem to fit the characters. Not sure how old these kids were supposed to be, but they had the voices of grown adults. It seems like this is the result of an attempt to create a star-studded cast, with more focus put on the reputation of the voice actors than actually choosing voices fit for the characters.
