I see the oscar-bait but still, I appreciate that this is a female directed film about a woman during the war. Yes it is a little shallow at times but there are many little details that make such a difference when looking at WWII from a female perspective.

Bedrock 2025
It was a really good documentary. The way it shows so many different situations and perspectives by showing certain places and people of different ages or using certain interview segments. BEDROCK manages to make you see the things you don't see. It is proof of why the whole German debate about a so-called "Schlussstrich" is so fucking wrong and ignorant. I also really appreciated how the very first scene was contextualised in the very last scene.
