Jacob Poller of The AV Club wrote a review of this that hit the nail on the head so I'll just summarise a few of his thoughts:
● DoaU does its best work as a gory creature-feature with a few strong set pieces. When it tries to invoke the father/daughter relationship drama, it falls flat.
