i should've known from the goofy ass poster and smile bs but NO! i gave it a fair chance and the first half was building up to something interesting and could possibly offer a new take on celebrity culture. all this for it to only be lukewarm at best, like why was this lowkey a slowburn?? 😭 the entire film was just build up with an awfully predictable ending. also so many unanswered questions; v unsatisfying experience :/

it’s so interesting to think of all the different interpretations of why ani breaks down at the end and the debate surrounding igor’s character…the final act GAGGED me! this felt more like the Uncut Gems genre of drama, not comedy necessarily. (i admittedly did not laugh as intended)
