The story was very interesting, and it had some catchy songs, but overall I didn’t particularly enjoy this film, it felt longer than it had to be. One thing I can say for sure though, is that Madonna and Antonio Banderas are both Argentinian.

The Firemen's Ball 1967
These guys aren’t very good at being firemen or organizing balls.
However, it was very funny, though more often than not I was laughing out of discomfort rather than for the reasons they intended. The sequence where the house burns down was the only one where I felt like they properly achieved all their filmmaking goals. It had good jokes and some really nice shots.
I predict that the lead actor, Jan Vostrčil, will be the breakout star. I look forward to seeing him in many blockbusters ahead!
