Great character. Not a great film. It’s made watchable by Benedict Cumberbatch’s excellent portrayal of Dr Strange.
The opening is very good with the surgery background and it leads into the best part of the film which is the character development.

The film is predominantly let down by completely confusing and ugly fight scenes. The frequent switches from the complete alteration one one’s environment, the use of conjured weapons to then just punching eachother in the face never makes any…

Fantastic film. One that could be watched really enjoyably as a stand-alone as well as part of the saga. Chadwick Boseman is excellent, but so are all the acting performances in this.
They did a fantastic job of mixing traditional African tribalism with ethereal royalty.
Michael B Jordan takes the plaudits for playing an incredible main antagonist who is easy to empathise with but also just very cool. Andy Serkis also does a fantastic job as a secondary antagonist and…

Brilliant introduction sequence explaining the background of Asgard and the gods. Marvel did a good job of introducing this element without making it too crazy. The frost giants make for a good opening section too. Costume design for asgardians was great. I was never a fan at all of Thor’s companions. I don’t think they add anything other than poor dialogue. Loki, Heimdall and Odin on the other hand are great characters, portrayed brilliantly. The 3 scientists on earth are…

A masterpiece. The way the movie works through various phases is excellent. There’s also a real struggle to choose who is in the right which always makes for an interesting film. A pleasant change from the typical thing of hero vs villain. Zemo makes for a brilliant antagonist too. Always good to have a villain who comes across as intelligent rather than just brash.
Great introduction to some characters as well as adding to the development of others. So many good action scenes it’s hard to count but the running along the street and obviously the final sequence spring to mind. Brilliant film
