Ran 1985
Despite being a colored film, if it is in greyscale it will still look good and be very similar among previous films of Akira Kurosawa during the 50s and 60s. Also, the cinematography is so good, it's like watching a moving painting, with the help of saturated colors so that it will contrasts the characters to one another. The story for me is not within my preference, before watching this movie I thought this would be on the likes of Seven Samurai, but it turns out to be on the likes of Rashomon, a fully fleshed-out version of that film, with different plot and character motivations.

Sanjuro 1962
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This more or less the same of Yojimbo, same motivations, same tactics to eliminate the enemies one at the time, but damn that ending though, that is some cool end sequence; The one take dialogue of Sanjuro and Muroto, while the rebels are on the background watching the two having their conversation. But then you'll hear the sound of bird chirping slowly fading and for a moment it went silent, and all of the sudden the two quickly draw their swords out, Sanjuro is fast enough to kill Muroto and the iconic large blood spill was born.

My only concern about this movie is if the runtime is 20 mins longer, I would not feel that this movie is cramped because it has too much dialogue and exposition before the actual fight.

Superman 1978
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
From a movie created in the year 1978, it's still enjoyable to watch. The visual effects didn't hold up in today's standard, but the cinematography is still acceptable, given that they properly show how Superman would interact to other people and to other places he has been.
I would say, this is the Avengers of their time, with the visual spectacle of Superman saving the people of Metropolis, especially in the climax where he saves Lois Lane by interfering the…
