Conclave 2024
I wasn't all that keen to see this movie because the topic didn't interest me. But I really enjoyed it. The acting was fantastic and the intricate characters brought out a whole range of political and social commentary very relevant to today. One of the best movies of 2024.

Will & Harper 2024
I listened to an interview of Will Ferrell and Harper on the NY Times The Daily Show podcast where they talked about the movie. Then I watched the movie. It's an incredible inside look atbtheir friendship as Will seeks to understand Harper's experience as a transgender woman and support her. And because these are Saturday Night Live comedians and get Kristen Wiig to write a song at the end, it's funny and clever too.
