Pamela's performance was amazing, but I can't help but think the rest of the film didn't live up to the hype. I was left with questions and not in the good way at the end of a film... more like, is that how they intended that character to appear? Was that a thought out narrative, or something that simply fell by the wayside?...

I kind of make it a point to seek out and watch disturbing films and this 100% fits that description. It is so gritty, so visceral, you feel like you are there. The acting is phenomenal and the cinematography is just about perfection. There is little exposition in this film which may frustrate some viewers, but I found it even more realistic because of this. Fantastic film but certainly not for the fainthearted.. it WILL stick with you.

I loved the slow pace of the film, juxtaposed against the horrific acts. It was difficult for me to watch at points but incredibly important topics displayed throughout. How did I feel watching this? Infuriated, heart-broken and grimly defiant.
