  I wanted this movie to hit harder. It has such a unique concept, but it’s overloaded with characters, leaving little to no room for any satisfying resolutions. If the story would have only focused on Tom Hanks and Robin Wright this could have been something truly special. There was gold here, but they dug too deep trying to be profound and poetic. The heavy moments barely have time to simmer because the film kept switching between various characters throughout history in this one location.
