The Color Purple 2023
Nothing will ever top the way I experienced this movie. But besides that, it was incredible. Definitely thought provoking and I feel compelled to consume ever rendition of The Color Purple that exists. The choreography was amazing, but it loses points for there not being a tap dance until far too late and it being much too short. Those points are made up for though by the sheer talent of this cast.
