masterpiece masterpiece masterpiece. this movie can be analyzed for days, years, and you will find something new every time.

i wanted to like this but i didn't. but the lead actress did a beautiful job.

i only really enjoyed the chemistry between elvind and julie.

i understand the point of the movie but maybe her indecisiveness pissed me off because personally my indecisiveness is a trait i hate having. and it's just kind of romanticized.

i got very high while watching this movie the first time. its hyper-realistic-ness overwhelmed me, in a good and bad way. i was constantly in awe of how realistic the apes were. their means of communicating was fascinating to say the least. but as i said, i was overwhelmed and very high. so i got extremely fucking queasy and projectile vomited in front of my high school crush because the apes were starting to look too real

this movie is fucking hilarious because its not supposed to be funny.

but that tanning bed scene makes my nipples tingle in a bad way; i think that was the only scene that i reacted to in a way that the movie's creators probably intended
