i really liked this film, and the ending scene was my favourite. i interpreted it as ani wanted to thank igor because he had shown her kindness, and (sadly) the only way she felt she could/the only way she knew how to was to do what she did. in that moment, she had the control over the situation, and when igor goes to kiss her, she resists because to her that’s too far- that that would be more emotion based.…
