  something about this didn't fully work for me. but i think the characterisation of the two leads is great, and dom's a very sympathetic character - just one it's difficult to do much with given his lack of notable flaws (most romcoms use their character's flaws to inform the plot or garner an emotional reaction, the only reaction i can have to dom is "yeah he seems like a real chill guy, bit sad, but given his circumstances i can understand that".

  now to write an essay on the opening scene for uni 😮‍💨

  season two: woah, absolutely loved it, just perfect. probably the best series of comedy on the bbc this side of the millennium, and it's a comedy where the emotional beats really hit as well. 10/10.
