  Went into this film thinking the worst. If it wasn’t for my friends I never would have watched it, the trailers didn’t sell it for me but I was pleasantly surprised. I was cackling throughout the film.. Keke is great, forgot that’s Akeelah and that bee.. I put that respect back on her name she carried, didn’t expect much from my woman in Christ sza but I saw potential in her acting, there was a scene where she was snapping, I believed it all which had me engaged. I didn’t laugh at one of Katt Williams jokes
