‘Pray for the best, but prepare for the worst'
Prisoners is the epitome of the mystery-crime genre—mind-bending, electrifying, and utterly thrilling. The plot is simple yet executed perfectly, hands down one of the best scenes takes place in this film coupled with Jóhann Johannsson score **chef’s kiss**.
The characters particularly Detective Loki lore really intrigues me I wish we knew more about his past and why he blinks so much. Jake Gyllenhaal and the rest of the cast definitely deserve more credit out of this movie, Hugh Jackman not even receiving a single award is criminal.
