I really think this was a great film the only reason I gave it 3 stars is that its kinda boring in the beginning, although i do love the piano, and because its just horribly painful and not a pleasant watch. If youre looking for something about outmost romantic and sexual emotional and physical pain, this is your movie. The mental frame of Erika is very interesting. She mustve had a very haunted past and with it deep psychological issues. Her character made the movie very interesting. She played it wonderfully! I bet the book is great. Just fucked and sad and evil.
