Spectacular. The whole cast performs at a 10/10, the setting is portrayed in such an authentic, moving way. Yes, there are things that could be done even better. But I didn’t care when I was watching, because I was too busy just being in awe.

Solid and great acting, but very aimless and low-stakey and I didn’t like the point that it made in the end. Treasure (2024) has basically the same plot and way lower budget, but is the better movie for me.

The Brutalist 2024
A really good movie and awesome directing with (seemingly) crazy high budget and production value. But the whole feels like a biopic but isn’t actually a biopic irked me. Should have 5 stars (I guess?), but doesn’t feel like 5 stars to me. Maybe it just wasn’t for me. Or maybe it acts like a great movie, but isn’t under the surface ? Just like the biopic thing ?
