Was struck by the relationship between Lizzie and her father for this go round … in a time period where women were just thrown to the wolves of marriage for status by their fathers … that didn’t even cross Mr Bennet’s mind. His clear priority was to see Lizzie incandescently happy! They have such a deep understanding of each other it’s truly beautiful to witness.
