  Thought this was so good. Robert Pattinson absolutely killed it but that’s damn near a given. The distinction between 17 and 18 was so clear and impressive.

  I think I was primed to have this lens going in from listening to an interview with Bong, but the theme of “what does it mean to be human” was very apparent and I think effectively communicated. So much about talk about smell, touch, taste, everyone asking Mickey what death is like — the building blocks of the human experience

  Of course it was also hella funny

  Surprised at how human / grounded this was. And the underwater shots were crazy especially the ones just lit by the flares. Never seen an Underwater Director of Photography credit but it paid off forsure
