  Screening with Eugene Kotlyarenko for Kathleen's opening weekend (3/5/23). I've written elsewhere about why I think this movie is so special, particularly as a document of LA culture.

  I'll just add that the Q&A gave me a greater appreciation for AWC and Eugene as a filmmaker. To pursue an artistic vision for as long as he has without getting demoralized and swallowed up by some industry job is inspiring. Hearing about how quickly this movie went from idea to execution…
