Alien: Romulus 2024
Major Dead Space vibes also thought of Alien: Romulus as Die Hard in a space station mixed with Gravity. Callee Spaeny look forward to more projects with her in the future. The set pieces we're thrilling and terrifying at the same time. Have no idea how Fedè is gonna top the final boss of this one. MVP of this was Benjamin Wallfisch bringing cues from previous entries.

The Brutalist 2024
The Brutalist is my favorite first-time watch of the year so far I know the same saying is when it comes to motion pictures like this. They don't make them like they used to. Every frame used with Vistavision is beautiful like a painting. I was surprised the intermission wasn't preserved for this release—hopefully the physical disc. A cinematic experience wished I had seen in the theater, sounded fantastic with my headphones.
