  This movie was the culmination of all the ideas that they threw out while story boarding this trilogy and then were like, no that’s too crazy we can’t do this.

  This gut punch of a film is similar to what I’d imagine a combination of Nebraska and Montana Story would be like. I live for conclusions that aren’t exactly happy, but instead are indicative of the possibility of a happier ending on the horizon. 

  Also convinced that between To Leslie and Montana Story, Owen Teague might just rule the family drama genre and I’m not even mad about it.

  Let me start with this: I am by NO means a Christopher Nolan fan. So I am by no means obligated to tell you that this is an amazing movie out of infidelity to him as a director. However, Oppenheimer is a masterpiece in its own right. It’s not often that you see something come together so well visually and audibly. Coupled with slam dunk performances and pretty near perfect pacing, this was something to behold. The orchestra was assembled and boy, did it play.
