Da 5 Bloods 2020
Reminded me of a serious version of Tropic Thunder, without the drug running part, and also The Things They Carried. Lots of funny moments, and a lot of heavy ones, too. I really liked how Spike Lee differentiated flashbacks from current time with the changing aspect ratio, and that the soundtrack is more evocative of heroic WWII movies rather than the more typical rock-inspired soundtrack for Vietnam war movies.
