The way I involuntarily blurted out (in a whisper) “how long have you been 17?” when he said “aw man I’m still 17” 💀
Really really engaging first half, especially when you’ve been watching Severance and the morality and philosophy of having multiple selves have been on the brain. I even got to make a just like Challengers joke that was actually warranted! The second half was less interesting to me, when it became Elon Trump versus tardigrades. An interesting, accessible, and funny sci fi film throughout though.
About 10 minutes into this movie I remembered that I hate sports (particularly American football) and overly invested sports fans, which made enjoying this movie incredibly difficult. I was straight up yelling at the TV “shut up about the hat SHUT UP ABOUT THE HAT!” It’s soooo not that serious! Also 0 out of 5 for basically no Taylor Swift references.
