whacky sci fi flick with some great performances and fun all the way through. as usual, bong joon ho explores class and inequality brilliantly. pattinson's portrayal(s) of the hapless protagonist and his more cutthroat clone was great and the fact that they genuinely feel like different people was impressive. mark ruffalo's cartoonish, outlandish, failed politician turned cult leader was a joy to watch. couple of underdeveloped elements and a sub plot that seemingly gets forgotten about but overall a really good time.

The Brutalist 2024
loved it. the performances were absolutely brilliant. expertly crafted film with great editing, cinematography and score. the story is deep, impactful and 100% believable every step of the way. don't be put off by the long runtime, the pacing is better than most films even half the length. tons of nuance and depth here that will make a second viewing potentially even better.

Companion 2025
brilliant.
do yourself a favour and go into this film blind if it's not already too late. the concept is pretty straight forward and revealed in the first 20 mins or so and after that it just gets more and more intense and chaotic with some quite funny, ridiculous moments to break up the tension - if only for a second. essentially, expect a feature length black mirror episode with a great cast, a very digestible and fun concept and an entertaining and shocking series of events that play out.Translated from by -
Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace 1999
a joy to watch.
a thrilling adventure that is by no means perfect but is such a fun ride. the more dramatic/serious scenes are right up there alongside the best of the original trilogy. anakin leaving his mother, qui gon's battles with the mysterious villain, obi wan's development and heartbreak during the final scenes, all great. jar jar binks is very annoying, there's no escaping that. there are some more light hearted scenes that are clearly aimed at the kids…Translated from by
