What a movie. A murder mystery thriller, drama & comedy all at once’s.  Flying kicks to the chest, intriguing characters development and memory staining shots.

The camera work in this movie is something special. I was on the edge of my seat for the whole film and also fully invested in figuring out the mystery’s of this small Korean village.

I was blessed enough to see a re run at Montreals Fine Art Museums cinema. Can’t not wait to watch it again !!!!

    Long live cinema 💙

YES YES YES YES. Just finished it and I can’t wait to watch it again. As a struggling artist in a big city who hates “3 hour brunch friends” this one hits home.

Greta will be GOATED very very soon.

Been crying lately at the movies, and nothing changed watching this film.

A soundtrack that had me dancing in my seat accompanied by one of the best lead performances of the year by Fernanda Torres.

Also a very appreciated history lesson about Brazils dictatorship during the 70s.

This movie is part of this years amazing collection of true story films such as Sing Sing and Nickle Boys which are both outstanding. I’m Still Here is up there with some of the best films of the year.

    Long live cinema ❤️

My review will be shorter then then the film I promise.

Still sitting with it after a week, disappointed that I didn’t it in 70mm. But overall this film does have me conflicted, with a running time of 330h I find that some scenes weren’t needed.

But what they achieved cinematically is giant. Having shot every thing on I film, the use of natural light to create moods was devine.

Although I did find the film rather long the strong…
