The Prestige 2006
It’s a good movie but it knows it’s a good movie. I hate when a movie knows it’s a good movie… and it’s a little long too.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 2024
If you liked the other two Sonic movies, you’ll probably like this one—it’s more of the same in many ways. The arc between Sonic and Shadow is very similar to Sonic and Knuckles’ in the second movie. That being said, they gave Shadow a gun, put him on a motorcycle, and played the Sonic Adventure 2 theme, so they hit all the nostalgia checkboxes.
Keanu Reeves’ voice work wasn’t particularly great; he wouldn’t have been my first choice for the voice of Shadow.

Quite possibly the best movie I’ve ever seen; at least to date.
While there were many emotional moments in the movie that work on you in the rawest form, I particularly enjoyed the moments following Dr. Mann opening the airlock and destroying the Endurance. All hope seems lost, but Cooper decides he’s going to try to match the spin of the Endurance to dock his shuttle to the wreckage.
What I appreciate about this scene is that Cooper does not announce…
