A wacky luddite twist on a zombie movie. Some fun aspects like zombies with weapons, creepy digital zombie screams. Full of cliches, not believable characters and confusing plot points. What does the main character's graphic novel have to do with anything? I liked that the good guys didn't win.
Oh damn I just watched the whole credits and they send the signal at the end of the movie. Freaky. I need to watch a good movie for the first time this year...

Once Upon a Deadpool 2018
The PG-13 version of this movie is remarkable. It reminds me of old Dr Dre radio edits where they took care to replace every curse word and rework every bar. Funny movie, wacky superhero gags, decent action sequences. It suffers from the same problems as most comic book and heist movies but makes fun of itself so it's enjoyable.

I can't tell if this movie was a parody or just bad. It was a brilliantly dark, dry comedy mocking the wacky action movies of the 90s movies it pays homage to, or it was a failure. I'm still deciding.
