    When Harry Met Sally...

1hr 30 Minutes of two people being on and off, on and off, on and off. Just say you love her, you love him, at the start, and we’d of been out the cinema in 20 mins! Then I can get on with the rest of my day!

Would rather have attended a funeral.

    The Iron Lady

    ★★★★

Meryl Streep‘s performance was wonderful. She created such a villainous, spiteful, retched, twisted, abhorrent, evil, demonic,  malicious, crooked character.
I’m so glad this heinous Thatcher lady is fictional! Very believable that she could be elected, but the tories would never stoop that low!!

    Johnny English Strikes Again

Rushed beginning, felt crammed. I was confused about who Johnny English was. But, since I saw this film in 2002, years before its release in 2018, way before 1 and 2 were released, or anyone else had seen it, this probably explains my confusion.

Was great how they predicted the future with all the smart tech. At time of watch, I still owned cassettes!

  • Normal People

    Normal People

    ★★★★★

Connell and Marianne seem like normal people, so the title of Normal People seemed very well devised.

HOWEVER, Connell and Marianne are FICTIONAL characters, and deep research shows that they’re played by Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones, who are both celebrities. Therefore, the title of ‘normal people’ is very misleading and easily confuses us that we’re watching normal people do normal things. This was very deceiving.

If it was me, I’d of called it ‘Celebrities being Normal People’. This way, confusion will be avoided :)
