love sophie thatcher finally getting her oats and being in more mainstream productions - phenomenal actress.  good performances from harvey guillén and lukas gage as well.  funny with good bits of cinematography throughout.  loved the little wave at the end.

SOOOO much wasn’t fleshed out enough or missing - it feels like there were stipulations with the voice commands that didn't add up (honestly a lot of the functionalities didn’t make sense), her intelligence was NOT what i would consider…

theo james is very nice to look at (twice as nice) but it doesn’t nearly make up for the movie falling very flat towards the end.

fun and gory kills, made me laugh many times, love a stephen king adaptation with a husky male narrator (listening to theo james is almost as nice as looking at him).  it didn’t build enough on the existence of the monkey - where did it come from?  who made it, and how did…

this movie was disgusting, beautiful, horrifying, hilarious, poignant, dark, campy, well written with incredible acting…… everything i honestly look for in a movie, and would undoubtedly see again.  it didn’t feel at all like more than two hours, i was glued to the screen except for when i had to cover my eyes with my hands.

    the soundtrack was bumping…

not as good as pearl or x, but still a good time!

they didn’t develop maxine’s character enough for my taste - not enough information about her backstory and what went on between her and her father.  the night stalker’s identity was so predictable, but the final ‘shot’ was fucking phenomenal.

i will once again be saying ‘i will not accept a life i do not deserve’ every time i make an annoying decision
