  Depressing and dystopian.
  Sadly more relevant than ever before...
  Stunning Tarkovskij inspired visuals.
  Great acting, mixed with obvious and subtle themes of longing, facism and freedom of expression (and the right to life as well).
  Absolutely amazing orchestral soundtrack, as well as the commissioned Eurythmics version.
  Time to finally pick up and read the book!

  Borderlands 2024

  This project had so much potential... The Borderlands universe always seemed to have big potential for the big screen, sadly this is not a worthy adaptation. PG-13, run of the mill action and a little too on the nose and overall cheesy humor makes this movie feel so dull and unoriginal. It's shocking how you take such a vibrant, funny and original universe and completely squander it by making some pseudo-marvel slop. This may be the last time Borderlands will be attempted as a movie, but I do still believe in redemption.

  I have never been this invested in a bunch of old men arguing ever. Really good stuff all around. Beautifully shot with a simple concept that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The acting is what totally sells this story, every single on is absolutely amazing. All around perfect.
