To quote a guy outside the theatre right after: “Jesus Christ that was stressful”.
A sort of manic, 80’s electronic magical dubstep blares through your head almost the entire runtime on top of chaotic, jumbled, chaotic dialogue, and Adam Sandler is frenetic, hyper, unhinged, incredibly selfish and also somehow sympathetic and moving.
And all of this somehow blends together into a very good movie. While I was watching it I didn’t really like it, but at the end, somehow I did? I can’t fully explain, you’ll just have to see it.
