Road House 2024
Very entertaining. Loved the similarities between this character and Gyllenhaal's Nightcrawler. The dude is absolutely jacked. McGregor is a very fun character and adds great spice. Bit too much CGI and some parts got unrealistic. They wrapped up the movie well though. Great watch

The Zone of Interest 2023
Beautiful cinematography. Certainly a lot to unpack in every scene. My first thoughts on the movie revolve around the various relationships in the movie - the growth (and destruction) in the camp and the growth in beauty of the house, the Höss couple, the wife and mother, and claud and his brother.
I think the relationship between camp and house is explained entirely in the scene when the wife brings up Hitler's "Lebensraum" to encapsulate her love for the home…
