I'm Still Here 2024
🇧🇷 PT/BR:
Esse filme me causou todos os sentimentos negativos possíveis. Tristeza, dor, raiva, agonia e principalmente angústia.
Dune: Part Two 2024
Wow. Science fiction at its finest. If for some people this wasn't true before Dune: Part Two came out, Denis Villeneuve solidified himself as one of the best directors of this generation (for me, Top 3). I'm still processing it but for now, I'm just grateful for experiencing yet another masterpiece from this ridiculously talented director. Mickey 17 2025
Mickey 17 is a wildly entertaining sci-fi critique of our dehumanizing society. I had a lot of fun, but at the same time a lot is happening and not everything works. The Brutalist 2024
The Brutalist, for me, was a film that had a lot potential but didn’t live up to it. It tries too hard to be something special but fails to deliver and doesn’t take any risks. Technically it might even be the best of 2024, the cinematography was ridiculous, which is why I’m not giving it a lower rating. The story though didn’t make me feel anything emotionally, I just kept waiting for it to click but unfortunately it never did.
The…

Bob Marley: One Love 2024
The biopic genre is very complicated due to the difficulty to narrate real life events and unfortunately I think this film could’ve done more justice to Bob Marley.
Kingsley Ben-Adir completely disappears into the role, he was the ideal choice to play Bob Marley. Lashana Lynch was also incredible as Rita Marley, both performances are the standouts of this film. Although the story is focused on a very important part of his life, it lacked a bit of depth. The…

The Idea of You 2024
Only watched this because of Anne Hathaway and only enjoyed it because of Anne Hathaway. Aging like fine wine.
