  The screenplay of this film is atrocious.

  There were some moments of brilliance here but oh my GOD the dialogue was just awful for me. It broke the movie for me. I didn’t even like Willem Dafoe in this movie cause of that damn dialogue. 

  The movie felt as cheesy and over wrought as a porno intro. I could not believe my eyes while watching it.

  I adore First Reformed but this didn’t even feel like the same director, besides the obvious visual touchstones.

  BATMAN’S LITTLE FACE ON FACETIME!?!? That’s the silliest thing in a movie full of silly shit. 

  Feel like I’m taking crazy pills. With this and Dune I’m afraid people have forgotten what good movies actually are and are so quick to be dazzled by the visuals that they don’t dig deeper.
