Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning 2023
Definitely feels like a step down after Rogue Nation and Fallout, but still a ton of fun! It dropped off for me a bit in the final act with the train once Ethan makes it on board, but I feel like that could have also been because I couldn’t get over feeling like they did Ilsa seriously dirty.
Where this really falls short of the prior two movies though is the villain. Maybe it’ll make some serious strides in part two, but it was a little bit lacking for me. But that Rome car chase scene was fantastic!
