While it didn’t meet the mood we were looking for for our late Friday night, this piece certainly stuck on our minds for the entire weekend.
Besides Joaquin Phoenix now routinely impeccable performance; the exquisite execution of the plot and choices of cinematography, it also triggered me into reflecting how much “afraid” I’ve become throughout the whole…
I craved a movie like this for years now and am so happy to see this be brought to life by the Daniels. Non-obvious plot, compelling acting, and able to steal lots of laughs from the audience.
A lot of care was put into this and you can tell.
