What did I just watch? Tbh the first half of the movie was fine. The nirvana songs slayedddd. Also Jason Schwartzman’s character was so funny. But I’m so confused with what happened at the end. And don’t get me started on those dream sequences. like what?! I’m never doing an ayahuasca retreat, that’s for sure.

Was nervous about the length of this movie, but it didn’t feel that long. Loved the way this was shot and the pacing. Adrien’s controversy aside I think he was fantastic. I’ve never seen a movie like this one.

My first time watching a Cassavetes film. I liked the movie but it was a pretty hard watch. Not because it was bad but it’s rlly slow. Gena Rowland’s acting is so good tho omggg wow. I kept feeling so bad for her during the movie. Mabel is so sweet and has so much love to give. The scene where she comes back and all she wants to do is see her kids:’(
