The Room Next Door 2024
Did not move me once. Dialogues felt unauthentic. The entire plot is revealed from the beginning and the movie seems to stagnate — no progression. All characters are good and perfect people — no grey areas. The flashbacks are useless. The nods to a love triangle theme frustrating as it is left unexplored. The parallel to climate change honestly a bit laughable. I was quite out of it the whole time. Cool house though.
