  The magic of sisterhood is painfully intertwined with the struggle of subjugation by a patriarchal society in this beautiful, gripping, and entrancing story that felt real for every second it played. The tragedy that has been the experience of our protagonists is accompanied by a mesmerizing score and pleasing cinematography to highlight the possibilities offered by the outside world into which they dream of escaping. Mustang's take on the coming-of-age film is one that is unique in all of the right ways, and one I would highly recommend.
