  Enjoyed this much more than the first. The dialogue and some goofy smiles in the first took me out of it. The sound design was great and it actually felt intense when Skye couldn’t tell what was a part of her reality. I thought the whole car accident backstory was a bit silly, but maybe coked up people do do that…

  If you don’t like slow burns, then this is probably not for you. This definitely could’ve been 20 minutes shorter and it still would’ve accomplished what it did. That being said, 5-7 people walked out the theater before it was even halfway through.
  I actually don’t really like slow burns, but this one was so disturbing and good. It taps into that fear you had of the darkness as a child. Constant goosebumps and chills. This was the first time I’ve cried out of fear, or maybe it was out of sympathy.
