4 out of 5: It's scary how perfectly it represents the relationship between a maid and a premium middle-class family.
It's about a maid named "Val" who has worked for this family since their son was a child, until he went to college. Everything is "perfect" until Val's daughter stays at their house for a while to take her college entrance exams (since she lives in another state). JP Motta recommendation from (for?) when I asked for a movie that would made me burst into tears during the rest of my life.
Took me 3 days to finish it and today I can say I didn't cry. Maybe cause it only represented the reality of every parent of every people I know, including mines. C'est la vie!
A regular romance/drama. Nice to watch. It has a lot of tension but it's still very calm! Would watch it again…
