I liked this, I love a wee bit of sci fi
Was recently talking about we don’t see just cool sci fi films anymore.
Mickey 17 is defos one of those sci fi romps.
My issue with it is, it was so goddamn sloppy. It’s balancing like 3 plots in once and never commits to any of them, but the brief glimpses into these three plots are great, but you feel unsatisfied and left with whiplash.

This film doesn’t shy away from the darkness of life but it also celebrates the beauty of kindness and optimism
It’s cheered me up a good amount of times
Have this on in the background at a party. Sorted.
Had a few days to digest this now. And it has been unable to leave my mind. I was unsure on it once I left the cinema.
But usually that’s a sign of a film that will haunt me in the best way.
And queer was one of those films. An incredible and universally felt journey through longing and a desire to understand the person you love
