Worse sequel than the first movie. It's apparent with the heavy Chinese subplot, locations, flags, and characters are to pander to Chinese audiences to help prop up this mediocre movie in global sales.

Reminds me of The Wall with Matt Damon. A Chinese movie featuring a western actor.

All that being said, still a fun silly ride.

Fun popcorn action film that has a shark in it.

Bonus points for Jason Statham shirtless

2010 film I missed. Some surprise actors in here, Colin Ferrell, Mark Strong, Ed Harris, and Saoirse Ronan all really great. Painful to watch in some spots due to it being a wild survival journey, but overall a crazy adventure.
